Our three day festival this year took place on Friday 29 – Sunday 31 August and featured:

• Newark Retail Market
• Continental Market
• Cookery demonstrations
• Regional Food and Drink Show
• Newark Produce Show
• Live entertainment and outdoor evening screening of Breakfast at Tiffany’s

For dedicated foodies or people just looking for a great family day out, there was plenty to see and do in the Market Place.

As well as a wide range of fine food and drink to try and buy at Sunday's regional produce show, there was plenty of opportunity to "shop around Europe" in the three-day Continental Market. On Sunday the cookery demonstrations were just the place to pick up plenty of recipes and tips

Zany French Waiters, a pair of Comedy Chefs, fun and funky music from The Alleycats Family Band and colourful creations from Balloonatic all added to the festival feeling on Sunday. And the entertainment reached a peak in the evening with a special outdoor screening of the classic Breakfast at Tiffany’s, starring Audrey Hepburn and George Peppard.
